SO WE COME TO THE END OF OUR FIRST WEEK WITH THE ENDING REVISION OF PREREQUISITE SKILLS..WE DID TRANSFORMATIONS IN CLASS TODAY WHICH WAS ALSO SOMETHING NEW..SO MY NOTES HERE ARE JUST WHAT I COPIED FROM MS.JOANNE'S NOTES IN CLASS..AS IT'S THE BEST..HOPE YOU DON'T MIND MS.JOANNE..HEHE...

THINGS TO NOTE ~

GENERAL FUNCTION : y = - a. f( k(x+b) ) + c

'-' means refection in the x-axis

a>1 means vertical stretch of factor a
0<a<1 means compression of factor a

k>1 means horizontal compression of factor 1/k

0<k<1 means horizontal stretch of factor 1/k

b>0 means horizontal shift b units left
b<0 means horizontal shift b units right

c>0 means vertical shift c units up
c<0 means vertical shift c units down

f(-x) means reflection in y-axis (horizontal)
-f(x) means refelction in x-axis (vertical)
